I think that we’re all coming away from last weekend with a reinvigorated sense of community and enthusiasm. This year’s show may have been just a bit smaller, (about 90 cars) but we had some amazing cars that I’ve never seen before and a lot of new faces. I’m always humbled by the kind comments and positive response to our attempt at putting together a “car show” that doesn’t have that typical car show vibe. I jokingly said that 5erWest was more of an enthusiast show and I’m pretty sure that I may be on to something there. I had WAY more fun talking to everybody than I did even looking at all the amazing cars that rolled in.
When I get a few free hours this weekend, I’ll post up a re-cap on all the winners and some of the cars that stood out this year. Thanks again for another amazing year.

It’s finally here. After what seems like… about a year, it’s 5erWest time again. The festivities start tonight at Old Chicago Pizza and Tap Room. Seating starts at 7pm, but feel free to come early and hang out with other 5erFolk in the parking lot. Kind of a PRE-pre 5erFunk!!

It’s official. Now that the shirts are done, we’re ready to go. I’ll be packed up and hitting the road on Thursday morning. I’m really looking forward to seeing my 5erWest friends. Drive safe and I’ll see you soon.

Ok, it’s officially crunch time. We’ve got just a week until my favorite weekend of the year. I hope all of your projects are coming together!  I’ve got a handful of odds and ends that I need to button up and one HUGE one.

In other news, we picked up another sponsor and we will be offering a very cool Roth clutch pedal reinforcement plate for the e28 pedal bracket in our raffle drawings!
